FIVE men have been arrested following a drugs raid in York.
North Yorkshire Police executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the travellers site in James Street at about 4.15am today.
During the search, officers found what a police spokesman called "a large quantity of Class A drugs, believed to be heroin".
Three vehicles and a quantity of cash were also seized during the search.
The men - aged 18, 20, 21, 41 and 65 - remain police custody for questioning.
