FURTHER to my letter February 9, I am pleased to report more fundraising success and to be yet again thank the citizens of York for their generosity.

On February 1, a group of cadets from Acomb and Fulford descended on Clifton Moor Retail park, followed a week later by a Strensall detachment to Monks Cross.

The aim for both groups was to raise as much money as possible for B Company, Yorkshire ACF. Both groups were very successful, with the Clifton Moor collection raising a fantastic £692.80 and the Monks Cross group raising an outstanding and unexpected £1,052.28.

All of the money raised will go towards purchasing clothing and equipment to improve the cadet experience for all involved.

Many thanks to all who supported us on both days.

SMI John Tweedlie, Training Sergeant Major, B Company, Yorkshire (N&W) ACF.
