A64 blocked by broken-down vehicle
UPDATED: The vehicle has now been removed from the carriageway and traffic is flowing well.
ONE lane of the A64 has been blocked by a broken-down vehicle.
The vehicle has caused lane one of the westbound carriageway to become blocked near Tadcaster between the A659 and the A162.
North Yorkshire Police said the blockage was causing traffic disruption, and advised motorists to take extra care until the vehicle can be moved.
