After taking a tumble outside Bootham Bar on Christmas Eve, I adapted Rev Moore’s tale to offer thanks to my rescuers...
T’was the day before Christmas
When all through the town
There was last minute shopping
So much rushing around
When down on the pavement
I went with a clatter
Three heroes sprang forward
To see what was the matter
You’re all special people
Hope you weren’t too delayed
I’d like to say thank you
For the difference you made.
