IT WAS a shame there were so few food stalls in Parliament Street at this year’s St Nicholas Market in York.
Last year there were several near to the junction with Ousegate. We visited on December 16 this year and there only seemed to be food stalls that you would get at the normal markets.
We enjoyed our day, but others said the same as myself regarding the food stalls; to me it is part of a Christmas market.
