CHORISTERS will be heard in the exhibitions of a York attraction tomorrow when it pays a unique tribute to fallen soldiers.
York Castle Museum is to play host to singers from the Blood and Chocolate production, which was first performed in the city's streets in 2013.
Small groups of choir members will be placed in different exhibition spaces, singing songs chosen to reflect the themes and artefacts on show in the particular galleries of 1914: When the World Changed Forever.
Alison Bodley, senior curator of history, said: “When we were approached by the Blood and Chocolate choir we thought it was the perfect way to mark this very special Remembrance Day.
“The choir are fantastic and hearing their emotive songs performed against the backdrop of our exhibition is a thought provoking and moving experience.”
Groups will be singing in the Supplies Room, the Belle Époque gallery and in the Home Front section from 2pm to 4.30pm on Sunday.
