A 44-YEAR-OLD Harrogate man has been arrested in connection with an alleged serious assault in a pub’s beer garden.
The incident happened at Wetherspoons Royal Baths pub in Parliament Street, Harrogate, at about 7.30pm on Saturday.
A 51-year-old Harrogate man, who suffered a serious head injury, remains in a critical condition at Harrogate District Hospital.
A man from the York area, aged 43, also suffered facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
The arrested man was being questioned in custody yesterday afternoon.
