PLANS are under way for a ho-down next year following the success of a charity barn dance in Selby.
The Selby Young Farmers Club raised more than £3,600 for Marie Curie Cancer Care and other worthy causes at the event.
The group of around 20 young people, aged 10- 26, all chipped in to stage the event in summer which attracted more than 400 guests.
Community fundraiser Natalie Atherley said she was ‘absolutely delighted’, both by the effort put in by the young farmers of Selby and by the impact the money raised will have in the local community.
