TWO of the teenage boys injured in a crash in Strensall remain in hospital.
A green Citroen Saxo containing five teenagers crashed into a hedge in Towthorpe Road, between Haxby and Strensall, at about 8.50pm on Monday.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said 17-year-old passenger was thrown through the windscreen in the crash, and remains in Leeds General Infirmary. A 16-year-old boy who was in the front passenger seat remains in York Hospital.
The spokesman said both boys were in a serious but stable condition. The other three boys who were in the car were treated for minor injuries at York Hospital and have since been released.
