HARROGATE and District NHS Foundation Trust has been named as one of the 100 best healthcare organisations in the country to work for, according to the Health Service Journal.
It is the only hospital, non-specialist Trust in Yorkshire and the Humber to make the list.
Best Companies Group looked at NHS staff surveys to looks at leadership, work environment and engagement and satisfaction, among other aspects.
Phillip Marshall, director of workforce and organisational development, said: “We are delighted to once again be recognised as one of the best NHS organisations to work for in the country.
“I want to say a huge thank you to all of our staff, whether they are based in our hospitals in Harrogate and Ripon or in our community healthcare services across North Yorkshire and North Leeds, for their dedication and hard work to make sure that the people who matter most are those who use our services.”
