I WAS pleased to see that the child abuser James McLean received 11 years, but he won’t do the full 11 years (The Press, August 12).
Isn’t it about time the law was changed so that if you get 11 years, you do 11 years?
At least The Press put a picture of him on the front page so people know who he is.
He’ll be segregated from other prisoners, do his time and then be out. The victim still lives with what happened to her.
I hope the victim can move on and that rest of this man’s life is uncomfortable for him.
