THE final game of the York & District Junior Cricket Association under-13 season sees favourites York take on Dunnington in the Hirepoint Plant & Tool Hire Championship final.

The game will take place on Sunday, August 31 after the tie was washed out on the original date. The game will be played at Clifton Alliance, starting at 10am.

The two sides are chasing doubles as York have already won the U13 League Cup, while Dunnington added the plate to their trophy cabinet.

The U13 Six-a-side finals day will be staged at Heworth’s Elm Park Way tomorrow from 1pm.

Meanwhile, the final matches of the U9 campaign will be held on the Quality Solicitors Burn & Co Championship finals day on Sunday, August 7.

The semi-finals will be between Acomb and Londesborough Park, then York and Heworth before the winners meet in the final.

The games have been rearranged after the semifinals were curtailed by the wet weather.
