Gliding taster day at Pocklington
WOLDS Gliding Club, at Pocklington, has held a successful gliding taster day.
The event welcomed 145 visitors to have a trial flight with an instructor.
The day raised a total of £200 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and event organiser John Hunt said: “It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm from everybody on the field and in the clubhouse. Our visitors had a great time and it was a great family day out for a lot of people.”
