I WONDER how many people who park in the parent and toddler area at Morrisons in Acomb, York, actually have toddlers/children?
Not many judging by the number of work vans parked there the other when I visited.
Yet again I had to park at the far end of the car park with my toddler because the parking at the front was full.
It’s not that I have a problem with walking. The benefit of the parent and toddler parking is that it has extra room on each side for your buggy (away from where cars are driving past) and extra space to get your door open wide enough to get your toddler into their car seat.
In normal parking you are struggling to get your toddler in the car seat, while at the same time watching you are not scratching the paint on the car door next to you.
I am just asking people to be a bit more considerate when parking. Thank you.
S Willis, Acomb, York.
