HOMES and businesses across the East Riding of Yorkshire are set to benefit from the next phases of the multi-million pound Broadband East Riding project.
More than 20,000 premises in the from Bridlington to Market Weighton, Pocklington and Stamford Bridge will be in phase two and three of the project, with work going on from July until the new year.
The Broadband East Riding project will make superfast fibre broadband speeds of more than 24Mbps available to more than 42,000 homes and businesses in the East Riding of Yorkshire by December 2015.
In addition, the project aims to ensure that the whole region will have access to broadband speeds of 2Mbps or more.
