I AM writing with reference to the article "Council teams up on health" (The Press, January 13).
Coun Sue Galloway said one idea might be to invest money in a befriending service for the elderly.
Could I suggest financial help to Age Concern, as this scheme has over the years provided comfort for many.
Coun Galloway may not be aware of the many schemes this organisation provides for the city and elsewhere.
