EMERGENCY services were called to the Arc Light Centre in York after reports of a young woman threatening to harm herself.
Police, ambulance and fire brigade were all called to the centre in Union Terrace, off Clarence Street at about 6.20am today.
Emergency services left the scene at about 8.20am and the woman was taken to nearby York Hospital.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police, said: "The incident was resolved peacefully and the woman was given appropriate treatment."
