PAUL HEPWORTH assures us that the reason the new cycle track on the A1237 is not being used is that a further short section has yet to be installed (Letters, April 21).
Well, time will tell....remember Clifton Bridge? I wish the bookies were giving odds on it.
Further, he reminds us that the funding for the scheme comes not from York’s council tax, but from a government fund. Where does he think that came from? You can put a fancy name on any scheme but ultimately everything is paid for by all of us.
