Annette Pyrah, on the other hand, doesn’t need superfast broadband in her line of work.
You see she runs the Selby Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and the tools of Annette’s trade are low-tech heat lamps, warm Esbilac milk and even a feather duster, which she says stray ducklings seem to find very comforting.
The number of abandoned or orphaned animals Annette cares for in Selby is little short of staggering, from studious owls to mischievous bunnies and we can’t praise her dedication highly enough.
Annette, we salute you. Keep up the great work.
