LIVING in York is always a treat, but twice a year the city is without parallel. In December it is easily Britain’s most Christmassy and at Easter our confectionery heritage comes to the fore in the most mouthwatering way.
This year the Chocolate Festival promises to be the biggest ever and city-centre streets will be filled with delicious smells from today until Monday.
Other cities have to put up with boring mass-produced eggs at Easter. No wonder living in York is such a treat.
