PHOTOGRAPHERS have been urged to submit shots of their favourite woodland to a new competition.
The Yorkshire Agricultural Society, organiser of the Great Yorkshire Show, has launched the Living Woodlands competition, with the best 32 images to be displayed in the Forestry Pavilion at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show, which runs from Tuesday, July 8, to Thursday, July 10.
The competition is split into Junior (16 and under), and Senior (17 and over), with winners in each category awarded £50 in vouchers, and the overall winner getting a £100 voucher.
All entries, of woodlands or individual trees, must be submitted by Monday June 2.
