TO say that the only way to Leeds/Bradford Airport is by taxi or train is just not correct; minibus operators have been doing the airport connections for years.

First York quotes £15 return for an adult including travel to York station, but if you live in, let's say, Haxby, you have a 30-minute journey to the train station, possibly setting off early so as to avoid any hold-ups.

This is on top of a 55-minute journey to the airport. The actual journey time from home is nearly two hours.

If your return flight lands at 2.15am, will First York be waiting? If they are, and get you back to the train station, will there be a bus to Haxby at 4am?

If you have booked a personal service with a minibus operator, they will come in out-of-hour times and get you home much more quickly. The price also works out at £10 each for 16 adults. That's return fare, at any time of day or night.
