Stamford Bridge bow out of Girls Football League Cup
STAMFORD Bridge Under-14s were knocked out of the City of York Girls Football League Cup at the quarter-final stage aftter a 2-1 defeat at Fulford.
Fulford took the lead on 19 minutes when an attempted clearance from a corner looped over the ’keeper.
The visitors hit back after the break, midfielder Emma Nelson finding player of the match Ellie Whytock, who fired home. With a minute left, a shot from a Fulford winger was deflected in.
