Reader Pauline Marshall has supplied us with some photographs showing children of Tang Hall County Primary School in the late 1950s and 1960s.
We reproduce them here, in the hope some Press readers might recognise their younger selves - or old schoolmates they may have lost touch with.
The teacher in all the photos is Pauline’s sister, Lynda Chadwick.
Lynda taught at the school for several years from 1957 onwards, Pauline writes, before moving to Yearsley Grove, where she taught until she died from cancer in 1979.
