A NORTH Yorkshire care home run by national charity MHA has performed strongly in the country’s largest survey of care home residents.
Berwick Grange, in Harrogate, achieved an overall performance rating of 926 out of 1,000.
The nationwide survey, called Your Care Rating, questioned over 20,000 residents in 1,055 care homes across the UK. A home’s rating is based on its overall score across four themes.
Mandy Scott, manager of Berwick Grange, said: “We aim to provide person-centred care which respects everyone as a unique individual and seeks to promote physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
“We are now taking this opportunity to say thank you to our team of staff and volunteers and to see how we can build on this success to further improve our service.”
