WE RECENTLY attended the second community conversation meeting with residents in Westfield ward. It was interesting listening to people’s views over priorities in the community. We would like to thank people for attending.
We took away the need for further investment in the public space of Front Street, concern over quality of meals at Gale Farm Court and the need for help in supporting a new future for community centres.
Such a public meeting is planned for every community in York over the course of this year. The next will be held with the Hull Road ward community at 6pm on Monday, March 10, at St George’s Methodist Church – all are welcome.
Coun James Alexander, Labour Leader of City of York Council Coun Dafydd Williams, Cabinet member for finance, performance and customer services.
