CHRISTMAS has arrived at Beningbrough Hall, near York.
Santa is on hand with his head elf at the National Trust property and they’re telling stories with the offer of a gift to the children who have made the “nice” list.
Also, every Sunday in December visitors to the hall can join the popular “artrageous” workshops to get crafty; decorate a bauble, make a Christmas card, or decorate a plate.
Jo Parker, events and marketing co-ordinator, said: “Winter is such a special time to fully appreciate the shapes of the trees and spot the garden visitors including my favourite, the friendly robins.”
Beningbrough is also running workshops where people can develop their skills to make and decorate a rustic, seasonal wreath or create an array of willow ornaments.
