THREE people have been injured this morning in separate car accidents on the A64 near York.
Two were taken to hospital after a crash at the A64/A19 Fulford Interchange at 8.35am, and another driver was treated by paramedics after his car went into a ditch near Bilbrough Top at 8.50am.
The earlier accident involved a black BMW and a grey Peugeot 206. Both drivers have been taken to York Hospital with neck injuries. The road remains partly blocked, while police work to clear the scene.
The second accident happened on the west-bound carriageway. The driver was not seriously hurt and did not need to go to hospital
