HIGHLIGHTS from York’s big day will be shown on national television.
Dream Team television will be on the streets of York on raceday capturing all the action for a highlights programme to be shown on Channel 4 after the event.
Marathon sponsors Plusnet agreed to fund a 50-minute highlights package to be shown two weeks after the event, and the show will be fronted by former Olympic decathlete Dean Macey, London Olympics presenter Rob Walker and football presenter Charlie Webster.
Lead presenter Rob Walker said:”York is a beautiful city and with the marathon course being flat, we’re looking to see some great times clocked on the day.
“However, what makes this sporting event so unique is the focus on involving members of the general public, to raise money for charities close to their heart.
The programme will be shown on Sunday, November 3, at 7am on Channel 4 and later on in the autumn on BT Sport, Sky Sports, British Eurosport and some overseas sports channels.
