DETECTIVES have released CCTV images of two men they want to trace following a burglary in York.
It happened at 12.30am on Saturday at Cavendish Jewellers, Stonegate, when thieves used a ladder to get into a first-floor room at the back of the property.
They left empty-handed when the security alarm sounded. Both men are described as in their mid-twenties with short dark hair.
One was wearing a dark patterned sweatshirt and jeans.
The other was also wearing a dark sweatshirt and tracksuit bottoms, which may have had paint stains.
