AM I the only one to be disgusted by the behaviour of the Middleton Hunt members involved in the recent court case (Images that put hunt members in the dock, August 17)?
The law has banned hunting with dogs and if it wasn’t for the League Against Cruel Sports who filmed the incident, the perpetrators would not have been prosecuted.
I also find contemptible the small fines imposed, these will not act as a deterrent. Why is hunting called a “sport” when it is nothing but the torture of small animals?
