RINGSIDE seats are still available to see one of boxing’s all-time greats at York Racecourse.
Legend of the ring Evander Holyfield is set to descend on the Knavesmire track on Saturday, September 14, kicking off at 7.30pm.
The 50-year-old, known as The Real Deal, is the only four-time world heavyweight champion in history and was involved in some of the biggest fights of the 1990s.
Tales from his star-studded career, including his two fights against both Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis, will be high on the agenda.
With a professional record of 57 fights, 44 wins and 29 by knockout, he is ranked 77th on Ring Magazine’s list of the 100 greatest punchers.
The event will also include a compere, comedian, auction and a raffle.
Tickets, for the show and a four course dinner, cost £50, or VIP tickets, which also include a photo opportunity with Holyfield, are £75.
For £100, a Gold VIP ticket will also include front row seats and a ticket to win Holyfield memorabilia. Only 50 of these are available.
