A DRIVER was taken to hospital and several cars damaged, in a crash in Selby last night.
The incident occurred in Brook Street, where a Peugeot 307 and a Nissan Primera collided at about 9.20pm, leaving the Peugeot on its side in the road.
A Mini, a Kia Sorento and a Volkswagen Caddy which were parked close to the incident were all damaged in the incident.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said one man, believed to be a driver of one of the vehicles, was taken to hospital after he complained of back pains.
Anyone who saw the vehicles prior to the incident has been urged to contact police on 101.
