I WISH to express my thanks to the businesses and residents of Acomb following the charity day held at the Specsavers store on Saturday.
Through the generosity of the community, we were able to raise £130 for St Leonard's Hospice.
Businesses in the area made our tombola a success by donating prizes that led to a fantastic response from visitors to the store.
