PLANS to create a new power station in Yorkshire will go on display to the public next month.
A series of exhibitions on early plans to create a new multifuel power station at Ferrybridge, to be built after the current construction project has finished in 2015, will be held in July ahead of public consultation.
The exhibitions will be at the following times and locations:
• Wednesday, July 3, Ferrybridge Cricket Pavilion, Ferrybridge Power Station, Knottingley, between 2pm and 7pm
• Thursday, July 4, Ferrybridge Community Centre, The Square, Ferrybridge, between 2pm and 7pm
• Friday, July 5, Brotherton Parish Hall, Tadcaster Road, Brotherton, between 2pm and 7pm
• Saturday, July 6, Airedale Library, The Square, Airedale, Castleford, between 10am and 2pm
