THE 91-year-old woman killed in a road accident has been named as Barbara Mary Hoyes, from Knaresborough.
Mrs Hoyes was a pedestrian in Forest Moor Road, just before the junction with the B6163 at about 12.35pm on Saturday, June 15, when she was struck by a green Toyota Aygo.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The 88-year-old female driver of the car was not injured.
Police have urged anyone who saw Mrs Hoyes or the Toyota prior to the collision to contact them on 101 or email chris.garbutt@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
