A SEX attacker who accosted a woman as she walked towards the University of York is still being hunted by police.
Officers believe the assault, which happened on Heslington Road at about 1.45am last Thursday, may have been recorded on the attacker’s mobile phone.
North Yorkshire Police said he ran off through St Lawrence’s Primary School’s grounds when his victim, who was not injured, screamed.
The suspect is white, about 30, 5ft 9in tall, chubby, and with short thinning dark brown hair and a dark brown beard. He was wearing thin-framed, slightly oval glasses.
Anyone with information should phone police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
