THE annual village fete in aid of St Helen’s Church at Skipwith will again be held in the gardens of Skipwith Hall, home of the Forbes Adam family, on Saturday, at 2.30pm.
It will be opened by BBC gardening expert Nigel Harrison, who will also host a Gardening Question Time Also new this year will be a Big Bake-Off contest for children and adults.
Children can enjoy rides on a miniature steam railway while live music will be provided by the Riverside Stompers and a local children’s music group.
Entry is £3, with children under 16 free. There will be parking in the field opposite Skipwith Hall.
