A YORK psychologist has become the new president of the British Psychological Society.
Dr Richard Mallows has worked at York St John University for the last 40 years. He was head of the psychology department he founded and remains an honorary research fellow.
Dr Mallows has also had a long association with the BPS and for the last five years has been its honorary treasurer.
He said: “It is an honour to be the new president of the British Psychological Society. I am really looking forward to the next 12 months. My diary is filling up with interesting events.”
