A WOMAN is in hospital after a car fire outside a house in York.
The fire was reported at around 2.40am today, in Chaloners Road in Dringhouses.
Firefighters, police and paramedics were all called and the occupant of the car, a woman in her 40s, was taken to York Hospital with burns to her face and hands.
Police and fire investigators are now working to determine the cause of the fire, said a police spokeswoman.
