Victoria and David Beckham want to permanently move to London.

The fashion designer and soccer star - who have children Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, Cruz, eight, and 21-month-old daughter Harper together - are currently renting a £2 million mansion in the UK capital after moving over from Los Angeles in January ahead of David's transfer to French club Paris Saint-Germain.

They are now looking for a property to buy amid plans for Victoria to open her first ever clothing store.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "They've been happy renting so far, with Victoria spending most of the week in London with the kids, while David stays in a luxury pad in Paris.

"But they're feeling settled back in Europe, and Victoria has expanded her fashion business in London, so it makes sense to sort out a home."

The couple are so serious about the move that they hope to put their US property on the market as soon as they can.

The source added: "While they still have ties in LA, when the US housing market gets back on track, there's a good chance they'll sell up there."

However, Victoria, 39, and David - who turned 38 yesterday (02.05.13) - seem to have dividing opinions about where they want to live, with the brunette beauty eager to purchase a home in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the sportsman wanting to be more central and near his friends.

The source said: "David would prefer Notting Hill, close to people like his best pal David Gardner. But Victoria would like their family home to be slightly removed."
