THE Unversity of York is preparing to stage Roses, the largest inter-varsity sports tournament in Europe, this weekend.
The three-day contest pits the university against Lancaster University. York last hosted the tournament in 2011, when more than 2,000 students competed across 38 sports in 113 contests.
