Hilary Duff is obsessed with her 13-month-old son.

The 'Cinderella Story' star - who welcomed her first child Luca with her husband Mike Comrie in March 2012 - says that becoming a mother has been a very "humbling" experience after growing up in the public eye.

The 25-year-old singer and actress told 'The Today Show' on Wednesday: "I love it. I'm honestly obsessed with it.

"It's very humbling. It's all about him... It's his world. We're just living in it.

"I feel like my heart just swelled. I didn't know I could love something so much. And that keeps getting more intense as he grows older.

"I basically don't want to leave the house anymore. I don't want to miss anything!"

Hilary, who is set to guest star as Ashton Kutcher's girlfriend on 'Two And A Half Men', also believes that becoming a mother has made her more confident and patient.

She explained: "A lot of intuition just kicks in that you maybe didn't know you had before. And you obviously learn a lot of patience!"

The actress also recently revealed she is already considering having another child.

She said: "Mike and I are literally so obsessed with Luca. He's perfect! We should just be one and done. But I think once your kid starts getting older you miss that baby phase and you go in for round two."

The former 'Lizzie McGuire' star enjoys regular date nights with her retired ice hockey star husband, who she married in April 2010.

A source previously revealed: "Her family babysits so they can go on dates. They make time for each other. [They] have sweet nights at home with Luca, cooking dinner and watching movies. They're closer than ever!"
