TLC are recording a new album.

The 90s girl band - formed of surviving members Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas - have confirmed they are working on new material to coincide with their July reunion gig at The Mixtape Festival at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania.

The R&B record will feature a host of A-list guest stars like Drake and Ne-Yo, with T-Boz telling Rolling Stone magazine: "Everybody has been so responsive about working with us. No one has said no yet."

The girls' fifth studio album is set to be their first in over a decade, and their second since third member Lisa 'Left-Eye' Lopes died in a car accident in Honduras in 2002.

Discussing their reunion gig, T-Boz revealed it would be emotional and nerve-wracking being on stage without their friend, but said they would pay tribute to her thanks to video footage.

She explained: "It'll be bittersweet because she's not there, but she's still there... you see all three of us rock out together.

"I'm nervous. Not because I don't think [our fans] will like it. But more so just 'cause it's been so long."

The 'No Scrubs' singers are also planning a full tour after their summer reunion gig alongside New Kids On The Block, Hanson and Boyz II Men.

T-Boz laughed: "Trust me. It's going to happen!"
