PARENTS of York teenagers are to be given additional support through five new courses.
City of York Council and a local branch of the Relate charity are taking action following increased requests for help from families with issues.
Five “Riding The Storm” courses, covering issues such as sex and relationships, dealing with arguments and resolving problems, are being set up.
The first two are on May 3 and 10, between 9.30am and 3.30pm at the Priory Street Centre, and further sessions follow on May 23 and June 6 and 13 at the Friends’ Meeting House, between 6pm and 9pm.
