A NEW photography competition has been organised by community group Friends of Hob Moor, with entrants being urged to capture the theme of Spring On Hob Moor.
There is an adults category and one for under-16s. All entries will be judged by York photographer Simon Palmour, with additional winners decided by popular vote at the annual Hob Moor fair on Saturday, May 25. Prizes have been donated by York Digital Image.
The competition is free to enter, either by post or email, and the closing date is May 14. To enter, send 6in by 4in prints to Hob Moor Photography Competition, 36 Collingwood Avenue, York YO24 4JY, or email entries to hobmoorphotos@yahoo.co.uk
