FOUR people have been arrested in connection with ongoing investigations into burglary in York.
A 40-year-old man and a woman, 34, were arrested at a property in Nether Poppleton in connection with a burglary in Celtic Close, York, earlier this month when electrical and personal items were stolen. The pair have been released on bail while police inquiries continue.
In a separate investigation, police executed a drugs warrant in the Clifton area where they arrested two York men, aged 18 and 19, on suspicion of cannabis possession and on suspicion of burglary.
During the search, officers seized electrical items including a laptop which they believe to be stolen from a property in Thirsk.
Both men have been released on conditional police bail.
