A TRIO of Thirsk & Sowerby Harriers runners took part in the London Marathon.
Paul Atkinson completed the course in three hours, 20 minutes and 17 seconds, while Phillip Craig, in his fourth London Marathon, took 5:19-11, slightly quicker than Chris Sykes, who clocked 5:20-19.
Other club members tackled the Over The Odda 10k near Leeds. Charlotte Sanderson won first prize in the women’s race, finishing seventh overall in 45-30, with Ian Codling 150th in 1:29-27 and Marian Codling 157th in 1:44-59.
