A SERIES of roadshows is being held by East Riding of Yorkshire Council to help residents who are on benefits get advice on how recent changes to payments may affect them.
Sessions will be held on Tuesday, April 30, at Sancton Road in Market Weighton between 10am and 11am; Denison Road in Pocklington between 11.30am and 12.30pm; Lob Lane in Stamford Bridge between 2pm and 3pm; and at council houses in Fridaythorpe between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
Anyone unable to attend the roadshows but who is looking for advice on housing options should phone 01482 396301. The council’s benefit advice team can be contacted by phoning 0800 9150381.
