YORK will mark the Queen’s birthday on Monday with the firing of a 21-gun Royal Salute at noon in the Museum Gardens.
Prior to the salute, at 10.45am, military music will fill the streets as the Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band marches from Duncombe Place, near York Minster, to the nearby gardens.
